We always create specification documents before we start a project, so that both us and our client are literally on the same page.
It is important to us to go through the design phases with our clients, so that we can visualize better the client's image of the product, and to discover things that might go wrong during the implementation process, in order to fix them before occurring.
On the last stages of the development process, the client is asked to perform the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and sanity checks.
Once the test are completed, final adjustments to the code, look n' feel, and optimisations are performed
